About Nuwa Robotics
The company’s name originates from a slogan based on Chinese mythology: “Nuwa created humanity. We create robots.” Because of the regret founder and CEO Leo Guo felt over missing much of his daughter’s childhood due to his busy work schedule, he first set up a venture focused on companion dolls with voice functions, and then later founded Nuwa Robotics to produce companion robots. After tweaking and optimizing his product several times, Guo has created an AI interactive robot called Kebbi that is leading the way into global’s education market. Kebbi has gone from the home to the campus, incorporating STEAM tutorial design to plan different interactive learning modules for students of different ages. Recognized by local governments in both ASEAN, Taiwan and Japan, the robot has found its way onto campuses in many cities and counties, serving as an ideal teaching assistant. Nuwa Robotics is now focused on diversifying the applications of its robots and raising awareness of their potential, and is expanding into international markets, including in the United States and Japan.
